R R. official, I feel it due to them toay that our reception was gentle-, manly, to eay the least, and that the1 card in IImb morning's Tribune signed "Wagon Dealer," conveys wrong impression, one entirely at variance with those received by me at that meeting. Messrs. Dillon and Clark talked to us in a pleasant and gentlemanly manner, and but lor the opposition on the part of Mr. Vining we might have come away feeling belter satisfied. If Messrs. Eldredgo and Sears succeeded in securing tho rates they wanted, I have only lo say they are in better luck than tho wagon dealers. I could see no preference prefer-ence given ihem in attenlion.
