Show Silk Culture. The Deserct silk association met at the city hall yesterday afternoon, when Mrs. L. Robinson exhibited aome Bewing lilk, which was raised, reeled and twisted by that lady in Farmington. The specimens were excellent. It was stated at the meeting meet-ing that Osage orange leaves were not good food for silk worms. Mrs. A. K. Dunyon, of Draperviile, this county, said she had thirty ounces ofsiik worm eggs, which she wished to diapo;e of at $-4 per ounce. The meeting adjourned till April 3d. |
