Thegovernor's reception subsequently given was numerously attended. At 3 o'clock the unveiling ol the Columbus monument monu-ment took place. The preliminary proceedings consisted of a grand parade of Italian citizens through tho principal street lo the grounds this morning. At the monument, after music and preliminary speeches by Commissioner Alouzo M. Vita oi Italy, and Rev. Joleri of the Italian church in this city, tbe monument was unveiled by Governor John F. ( Hartranft and A. Blaui, envoy extra-ordinary extra-ordinary and minister plenipotentiary of his majesty the king of Italy. The other ceremouieB were a salute o: ? artillery, ortxtion by Hon.
