Show Ii Tois So? ' A writer in the Denver -Viicf says 1 that the year contemplated in the act of Congress of 1872, compelling miners to perform a certain amount of work on each lode daring each year, until a patent shall have been obtained dates from the location of the lode, and that if a miner locates a lead according to law, on the 10th day of May, 1875, that holds for one year or until the 10th of May, 1876. Then his time runs one year, or until the 10th of May, 1877, before it is open for relocation. If ho does the required amount of work on the 9th day of May, 1877, ho would hold the property, notwithstanding others had been or were then working it. |
