Show Escape of Prisoners Between sundown and dark last evening some of the prisoners iu the county jail made a desporate and successful suc-cessful attempt to escape, but forlun-atoly forlun-atoly all but one were subsequently recaptured. The prisoners are permitted per-mitted to occupy together a large light cell in the day tinir, hut at night are separated nnd locked in close cells. Whitehead is still at large, but will probably be recaptured. He is about 22 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches in height, has fair complexion, light hair, half shingle cut, round, smooth face, and weighs probably 130 pounds.
