He met with the family, en Thursday,, for the thanksgiving dianer, and his illness suddenly became be-came so serious as to prevent bia return re-turn home. Deceased bad long been a resident of this territory, the later yean of bis life being passed iaOphir, where he was engaged in mercantile business, and in this city. He was a genial, intelligent gentleman and was universally esteemed and respected res-pected by his large circle of friends and acquaintances. - lie leaves a wife and three children, besides numerous relatives and frisnds. |
