Show Rifle Shootiug. The spring meeting of the Utah Rifle asseoiation was inaugurated yesterday, yes-terday, at the range on ArBenal hill. The weather was very fine, though a slight breeze affected the aims of some who shot. The first competi tion was an all-comere' match, at 200 yardfl, open to everybody, with Bet triggers, any kind of gun. The score, which is hereto appended, ia a very fair one, but can and probably will be improved upon during the ensuing competitions. The first prize, a pistol presented by Ileusser Bros., was won by Mr. Geo. A. Meears; the second, a bridle donated by Mesers, Wallin & Pickard, was earned by Mr. John Sharp, junr., and the third, a bat given by Meiers. Lipman & Davis, was awarded to Mr. McLaughlin.
