Show PERSONAL. Mr. T. A. Smith, the portly and jovial "columniator," alias foreman, of the Ogden Junction, was around yestorday "on a fly." He's ono of tho heavy men of Ogden. Presidents Brigham Young and George A. Smith returned yesterday from a three days' visit to Provo. Mr. Charles Popper left for the oast yesterday morning. He will boabsent about four weeks, on business, Mr. W. B. Webster, the gentlemanly gentle-manly observer in the signal service office, this ci ty, leaves to-morrow afternoon for Fr'isco. His successor is Mr. J. F. Tenney. Judgo Haydon returned yesterday ( morning from a three weeks' visit to the bay, and also to his former home in the sago brush state. |
