The committee also agreed to reduce re-duce the tax on cigars from $6 to $5 per 1,000, and the rale of cigarettes, weighing less than 3i pounds, was fixed at $1.25, and upon those weigu-ing weigu-ing over 31 pounds, at $6 per box. |
