His death will in no manner interfere with the business hfliirs of the firm. About a year and a half ego all tbe property of the firm was divided with tbe exception of the mining stock business which remains in common, Mr. Flood having the management manage-ment of tbe deceaseJ'B interest. Tuia arrangement will continue in foce for be present, and tbe business will go on as usual. Mr. O'Brien's death has ' been hourly expected for several days. He leaves a will tbe conditions of which are yet unknown. He was a bachelor, but has a sister, niece and uephew in this state, and a sister and iece in Paris, or en route, His properly is vaguely ei-timated at $15,-000 $15,-000 000 to $20,000,000 but it is intimated inti-mated that as usu.il rumor has magnified nib wealth. |
