Show ' Knilroutl Transfer. New York, 18. The Wilmington, Columbia and Augusta railroad, better bet-ter known as the Atlantic Coast line, went into the hands of a receiver on the 15th inet. This road Btands to tbe Boutn in tbe same relation as the New York Central and Hudson River railroad to tbe north and western states. It has for years been deemed wholly invincible and regarded ns tbe soundest railroad line south of Mason & Dixon's line. Ou Monday, bow-ever, bow-ever, Mr. R. R.Bridgers was appointed receiver. |
