Show The Phtlarmonio. At a business meeting of the Plul-urmouio Plul-urmouio Society, Tuesday evening, the foliowiug oflicera were elected to serve during tho ensuing term of six months : President, John Black; treasurer, Mrs. W. F. James, secretary, secre-tary, Onarlos P. Huey; mu3ical director, direc-tor, Prof. George Careless; board of directors, John Black, Charles P. Huey, J. D. White, Mrs. W. F. James, Mrs. Dr. Hamilton and Mrs. J. C. Conklin. Quite a large nura ber of persons wero proposed for membership mem-bership and elected. The society extends ex-tends an invitation to all these who are interested in musical culture and are wiliiiig to cooperate in advancing the aims of the Hociety. It was tie-cidtd tie-cidtd to adjourn over the holidays, and on the first Thursday evening in January, 1878, the society will resume its sessions. |
