Show Theatre, To-day. For this alternoon's matinee at the theatre, besides the toys for the children chil-dren to bo given away1, an excellent variety bill will be presented, consisting consist-ing of "The Spectre Bridegroom," "Pocahontas" and the Shadow Pan to -mime, eaoh of whioh willjiamusejtue audience. The evening's performance will consist of "Eustachft Baudin" and "Pocahontas." The first-named piece ia one of tho standard Block dramas of the early dayaof the drama here and was always a favorite with theatre-goers. It is well oast, Misses Colebrook and Napper aud Messrs. Lindsay, Margetts, Emery and other favorites. To the tickot-holderB, at night, paokages of groceries will be distributed. There will be parties attending who will not care to accept the tea, coffee, sugar, raiains, etc., but Managor Harris has provided a charity box for the reception of the rejected parcelB, which will be distributed dis-tributed among the poor of the city. This is ft generous and thoughtful act on the manager's part and will be appreciated by all classes of the community. |
