Show The New Clerk. Mr. C S. Hill, late clerk of the Third district court, has resigned and his successor been appointed, Mr. Oscar J. Avorell now holds the position, posi-tion, having como from the enst with the chief justice for that purpose. Mr. Averell at onco qualified and enteied upou his duties. It ie understood that Mr. H. G. McMillan, deputy clerk for 1 such a long time past, and who haa given uuivors.il satisfaction, will ho retained in his position. We question if anything could be more agreeable to tho attorneys and those having husineas at the clerk's office, aa Mr. McMillan not only understands the business thoroughly, but is reliable, agreeable and obliging, and should therefore bo retaiutd. |
