It was written by two gentk-meu of this city, both for this occasion and for lho?e who are to take part, and will be produced under the flu-pires and for the benefit &I the w.rd Sunday school. The plot is interesting, the language well chosen and tbe burlelta abounds in humorous eituatxns. The greater part of the music has been rejected from the leading operas. Otherwise it has the merit ol bting a home production and tbe children wto are to personate the different characters do them justice. The success of the piece ia assured. Due notice will be given of the night of the performance, and further particulars. |
