Show Surgical Operation. Dr. J. Mj. BuncJict, Wednesday afternoon, pcrformtd a delicate surgical surgi-cal operation at Lhe Siters' hospital. Toe patient was a young man acd about 19 years, a resident of Ceutre-ville, Ceutre-ville, and had been suffering from a disease of nine ye.irs' standing called morbus eox.triiu, and coiuinjiiiiy known as the hip joint disease. The doctor removed the head, neck and two inches of the shall of the ri jt thigh hone, the operation being per formed in the presence of Drs Thompson, Fowlnrr F. D. Benedict aud Graham of Corinne. This is believed to le the second operation ol the kind ever performed in the terri tory. |
