Show A.VEXCiUNaEremarka that Yavapai county, Arizona, will soon have 2,000 Mormons within its coufiufs. This ia accompanied by au intimation that there is trouble ahead for our aieter territory. Why should not the Mormons Mor-mons go into Arizona if they want to? America, aa yet, is a free country, aud the people from one part of it cannot be barred out ol another. The Mormons have aa much right in Arizona Ari-zona aa New Yorkers have in Pennsylvania, Pennsyl-vania, and instead of causing trouble they are more apt to provo a benefit lo our southern neighbor. It is a fact that the Arizoniana themaelvea, aa a class, heartily wolcome the Mormons. Mor-mons. They know that tbetcomiug of these people means industry, thrift and tho rapid development of tho country's vast resources, They also know that it meana law-abiding, orderly communities. Toople need not he alarmed because tho Mormons are spreading out and settling the adjoining territories. They Bhould rather congratulate themselves ou the circumstance of permanent towna being built, of the land being reclaimed, re-claimed, and of law and order taking 1 the place of their opposites. |
