| Show J COUNTY COURT COURTN N T county commissioners rom s inee meeting ZI march 17 1913 full I 1 board and county clerk H 0 pack in in attendance corn com ford reported that he had bad called on the rutih power light 0 co to get an e estimate of the cost of installing an electric motor and other necessary equipment for a pumping plant for road sprinkling 1 purposes asa As a result of his visit mr L bran danberger den berger of the utah power light co was present to discuss the matter after due consideration it decided to take tho 1 matter up with the state road corn com missioner as s the state of officers racers are considered interested I 1 parties mr air tempest of the utah power light co personally appeared before the board t ti ascertain if the width and course of M highway hway no 2 over which their franchise had been granted had been determined he was informed by the board that the surveyor was at work on the above matter aud and undoubtedly would submit his report within the course of a few days thomas H harris of centre ville personally appeared before the board in behalf leball of the deuel creek irrigation co and asked that the county operate cooperate co with said irrigation company in putting in a culvert or flume on said irrigation companas Comp corn anys ditch where it crosses the public e highway south of the L D S church in centreville Cen treville this was referred to corn com ford with power to act I 1 corn com ford made an adverse report in in re regard m ard to cuttin cutting a doorway between two of the rooms of the court house and of installing a telephone in the room occupied by the board of edu education calon and the report was accepted and adopted mr W H byrne of the giant powder co asked for a permit 1 ermit to build a powder magazine on their property aa adjoining joining the du pon t powder co in the south end of the county referred to corn com durns burns and the torney for investigation t corn com ford reported that he be had examined certain waon wa wagon ID on road crossings on the 0 S L R R and he would suggest that the approaches to tp the crossing at t the burk lane near station no 1070 be fenced on both sides with a plank fence from the property line up to the grade grad an and d that tho the grade crossi crossing ny about one and one half and 0 one lie and three quarters miles north of the layton dept near station and be widened to a width of thirty feet on top tile the report was accepted and the clerk was instructed to write G H C cumberland Crum rum berland assistant e engineer gin eer of the he 4 0 S L ry C co 0 of the action of the board com coin ford also reported in regard to the construction of a culvert ivert on oa haight creek where saide said creek reek crosses highway 2 no 4 and that members of th the irrigation ga cr tion company had bad a agreed ta reed to pay half of the expense if t the e county would pay theother the other half the report was accepted and the culvert ordered built i was adap adopted ted grant inythe utah power light co permission to operate the plant that they purchased from the davis county light power co |
