Marshall, who nominated nom-inated rt. X. Baikin, Esq., for chairman, chair-man, which was carried unanimously aod C. A. Gould, Eiq., was elected secretary. District Attorney Carey read a telegram tele-gram from General Babcock, President Presi-dent Grant's private secretary, to Governor Emery, saying the president's presi-dent's party would be in 0o'dca about noon on Sunday.
