Show The Yellowstone Hivor Nuvi-CiiUle. Nuvi-CiiUle. Chicago, 12. Col. J. V. Forsyth, who left Fort Butord on the 22d of May to explore the Yellowstono river, telegraphs from Biymarek, Dakota, Da-kota, that his party will leave" for Chicago lo day. The party reached a point 485 miles above Fort Buford. Col. Forsyth thinks that for three months in the year tho Yellowstone is navigable from its mouth to the mouth uf the Big Horn, and thinks it much k iter than tho upper Missouri Mis-souri river during the same period. |
