Show Excursion to York. Tlie departure, yesterday morning, of President D. H. Wells, Eiders LorenioSnow, F. D. Richards, R. T. Burton and Joseph K. Taylor, on a preachir.g lour to tho southern settlements, settle-ments, was made tho occasion of a pleasant excursion to York, tho end of the U. S. R. R. track, by num. Ibcraoflhc family and a number of j personal friends, who hnd been in jvited by President Young to accom-1 accom-1 pany the elders to that point. Among the party were President Rrigham Young, Elders Georgo Q. Cannon, Brigham Young, Jr., liisliop Lorenzo Young, Col. Feramorz Little, and other gentlemen with lady members of their families. At York tho missionaries mis-sionaries took leave of their friends i ami entering their carriages drove ofT ' t-outhwards, whilo those who went to cp lliem away returned to the city j by the regular afternoon train. |
