Show , Rifle Match To-day. Editors Herald : The year's subscription to the Cti)-jer, Cti)-jer, gift of G. B. Win tie, Esq., and year's Spirit of the Times, gift of Messrs. Miller, Shelton ifc Fleming, were accepted by the executive committee com-mittee for the use cf tho club; and although not to bo competed for, the papers will be highly apnreciatcd. There-will he a "turkey shoot" in addition to tho other attractions. Ammunition can be purchased on the range. We return thanks to Uncle Jimmy Crossley for a keg of beer donated for the occasion. The public may rest assured that it will he an enjoyable atlair, provided the weather prove favorable. The grounds are located immediately immedi-ately northeast of the Arsenal square, at tho tup ol Main street. The National Na-tional band will bo in attendance to. help enliven tho proceedings. The committee request the public to excuse the lack of accommodation; it ia tho intention of tho club to eventually make the grounds attractive, attrac-tive, but it requires the expenditure of considerable moans and tune.
