On Saturday night Roborta, of tho Fashion saloon, Jacob City, being intoxicated, in-toxicated, went to Egan's saloon, in that mining burg, aud commenced abusing tho bar tender, Davo Reese; and oftcrwnnls fired Bovcral ahots at tho latter, but nouo of them took oflect. Reeso then took his little gun and sent two bullets into Roberts, one in tho groin and tho other iu the knee. Roberts will recover, but it is thought that if ho goes after any boil y iu future ho will have to do ao on crutches.
