Show ; A Coal Mine That Will Pay. I McEwan and Jones last Junediacov-ercd Junediacov-ercd a six feet vein of fine coal in , Cedar canon, six miles east of Cedar city, Iron county, near Walker's discovery dis-covery heretofore announced. The vein can be traced about half a mile. Specimens have been tested at the Raymond & Ely mills, at Pioche, and pronounced good coking coal. The formation in which the coal is fuiiiul is of Bandstone and the vein U well defined. Some Salt Lake city parties will tako an interest in it, and iw boys will go vigorously to work t is fall. |
