Show 0 omental Peu-Wrl'ing. Samson Brotliers & Co., in the Wasatch Hotel building, have placed in their store window ono of the most beautiful specimens of ornnmcnta, pen-writing that we have over looked upon, nnd the charm of tho skill and taste that we allude to is in the fact that the writing is from the pen of a young man, Charles Eisensbimel, a native of Vienna, who haa not hitherto hither-to mado this his profession. The writing covers a card board about 40 by 50, and is an announcement of the business of Samson Brothers & Co. , and is executed without previous penciling or tracing, in three different colors of inks; but the colors are so - artistic dly blended, and the shading so Ltstcfully executed, that the natural supposition is that there are very many colors used. The let. tering of the varied brands of cigars are in every style of letter from the plain outline of print to the grotesque and comical features of national races. It is beyond the capacity of our pencil to tell the great beauty ol this singular advertisement. The lovers of art must see it, and they will doubtless admire it as we have done. ! |
