"Bonaventuro" won, "Bannerette" and "Regardless" dead heat for the second place; time, o.lo. Third race, purse iriOO for all ages, two mile heats; lour started. " Yan-dalitc" Yan-dalitc" won in two heats; -" Fellow-craft" Fellow-craft" second; time, 3.4!) and 3.37. Fourth race, Long Branch stakes, all ages, one and three-fourth miles; four started. " Woodbine" won; "Survivor " second, "Resolute" third: time, 3.00. East Saginaw, Mich., 10. The race at Saginaw driving park to-day for a purse of ?o,000, 2,300 to the winner; $1,-300 to the second, and $1,000 to the horse that beat the best time on record, "Goldsmith Maid" won the first and led in three straight heats in the remarkable time of 2:19'. 2:1-3, 2:10, the only contestant being "Jude Fuiierton." "Goldsmith Maid" broke once in the first heat, but still won by a length. She won the second heat by two lengths and the third by lour lengths, "FulIertouY time, 2.20;, 2,3, 1 3.1SJ. The track was in splendid i condition; it is one mile and three I feet long. |
