Show A Fraul Messrs. Mulloy fc Brown, the livery 1 stable keepers, offer a reward of $100 in me Herald this morning, lor tue return of a buggy, team and harness, , and the arrest and conviction for i steal iag the above, of C. A. Wallace. : ; We understand Wallace hired the; ; rig on the 10th instant lo go to Tar-1 j ley's Park, and made arrangements to be absent tluee days; and as in-! in-! quiries have developed the fact that : he has not been, at Parley's Park, and has not been heard from since leaving the stable, the reasonable conclusion is he has left the country, taking the team with him. Wallace came to this city from Goshen, in Utah county, and besides stealing the horses and buggy from Messrs. M. fc B., has given other evidences of being a first-class bilk and fraud. He ordered, a bill of goods from ono of the city merchants, and gave instructions that the merchandise mer-chandise be sent to Goshen when the bill would be paid. The goods were put upbut were not shipped, the merchant ascertaining Wallace's game before being severely bitten. We hope Messrs. Mulloy fc .brown will recover their property, aud that I Wallace will be brought to justice. |
