Show The New York Herald has got up another advertising row with some of the theatres of Gotham; and evidently the Herald doesn't know that it is defeating de-feating its own object by advertising its own opponents more than any ordinary or-dinary paid for advertisement could do. No paper in the country has fallen fal-len so rapidly, nor made such gross blunders, as the New York Etrald, since Frederick Hudson left its management, man-agement, and the older James Gordon Bennett ceased to be the controlling spirit. |
