Show If. The owner of a prospeot in one of the neighboring districts has written to a prominent mining operator in this city, to whom he baa made a very flattering offer. He says it the operator will place the prospect on tho market, and if be can sell the same, and if he obtains a certain price for it, and if he gets the money for it, and if he will retain an interest in the claim, and if it develops into a valuable property, and if all the papers are made out right, the ownr will do the handsomo thing for the1 operator. The latter Bays if the prospector thinks he ia a damphool, he is mistaken. |
