Show New Concentrating Works. Office Mitchell's Concextra- ting Wobks, I Bingham Canon, Utah, June 2-1, 74, J Editors Herald: I have beeu visiting with Captain P. J. Mitchell, the inventor of a new patent for concentration con-centration of ores, for nearly two weeks, watching the progress of construction con-struction of the works. It affords me ' great pleasure to inform you that to-iday to-iday ttie machines are in operation, 'and aro Working to the fullest satisfaction satis-faction of the inventor; who is an ore-dresser of long years' experience. The proceed ot separating the ore from t'ie gang or vein matter is perfect, per-fect, and the results of this day's trial will warrant a success. In a few days wo will bo able to give you some data as to the results obtained. The machinery is simple and com- Earatively in ex pensive, and requiring ut little power, so there can be no I doubt but this invention will be of great benefit to the various districts ' of Utah and elsewhere where mines arc waiting to be made pro ti table and valuable by concentration of ore, with a small outlay for machinery.
