Hampton, asking that an ordinance or-dinance regulating hacks, job waggons, wag-gons, etc., reported a bill for an ordinance or-dinance con'Gei-iiincj vehicle;;. The report was received. A number of bills were presented and tiie amoutiis appropriate.!. The superintendent of water works read bids from a number of firms to furnish the city with water pipes. He also gave estimates of the cost of the pipes for the most thickly settled portions of the city. The superintendent superin-tendent Wits authorized to dispose of the laminated pipes now in possession of the city. The bill for an ordinance conccrn-I conccrn-I ing vehicles was read, and the euunr cil adjournal till next Tuesday evening even-ing at 7 o'clock. |
