The new-3 of the nomination nomi-nation of Greeley and Brown at Baltimore Balti-more created little comment here, as the result was anticipated. The Tmes editorially announces its adherence to iis former position, and declares it will not support Greeley, but will work fer the liberal Mate ticket and to secure a similar representation in congress. The TVihune hails tho result as a proud triumph of the lova of conntry over partisan prejudices and personal preferences, prefe-rences, and declares it is a great blow to the opposition. Th Bolting Democrats Speak their Piece. Baltimore, 10. S. J. Bayard, in his speech on taking tho chair at tho anti-Greelcy anti-Greelcy convention, to-day, denounced the National convention aB tho culmination culmi-nation of a conspiracy to destroy the Democratic party, and said Iho Democratic Demo-cratic masses wore not represented there. Tho committee appointed yesterday to prepare an address, submitted their report, re-port, in which they assert that tho action ac-tion of the Democratic National convention conven-tion in tho adoption of a plat;rm in tho main features distinctively Bepubli-can, Bepubli-can, and in tho nomination for tho Presidency of thn most bitter and ; implacable enemy of tho Democratic party, is a virtual dissolution of tho Democratic Organization Organiza-tion and an uncondilionul abandonment of its principles; that by such action it ha been falso to its obligations and duty, and that its action binds no Democrat tJ support its ticket, which, on tho contrary, should be spurned by all true Democrats. Tho address then proceeds at length to do- handed down by tho fathers, and appeals ap-peals to all true Democrats to rally to their support, by forming State organizations, organi-zations, and in other ways doing all in their power to check the growing defection defec-tion from tho true Democratic party. The committee- also recommend a convention con-vention to be held at Louisville, Ky.,on Saturday tho 3d of September, 1872, to take such stepa as may bo deemed prudent pru-dent and essential.
