A Correction. Mr. Shoenbcrg, superintendent of tho smelting works of the Sheridan Hill Mining and Suicltiog Co., writes us contradicting tho statement which appeared in the Herald last week, that they had bought the slag dump of the Wina-muck Wina-muck to work it over. Mr. Shoenberg says: "Our company started works to .-melt its own ore from Bingham, and not tho valueless residue of other works." The information came to us from what was deemed a reliable soure.
