Show T n eatee. Last night the elosing performance of "East and West" was given and drew another good house. We must repeat that this is a well-ooQoeived well-ooQoeived and powerfully written sensation, sen-sation, with an aggregation of most startling mechanical effects; and Mi-. Bates will make a big success of it. To-morrow night Watts Phillips' drama of "Nobody's Child" will be presented, strongly east, the leacia roles in the hands of Mr. Bates and Miss Walters. This is one of the great successful pieoeB of the day, aud never fails to attract a large audience. It will be preceded by Mr. Beaman'B exhibition of scenes from the great Colorado and Green river canyons, the Moquis Pablos, the Arizona diamond fields, and other points of interest in northern Arizooa. With the aid of screens extended the width of the stage, a combination of lenses, and a powerful lime light, the scenes will be given a wonderful appearance of reality, and will be accompanied with a descriptive lecture by Mr, Beaman. The whole will make a highly interesting and instructive in-structive exhibition. |
