Show Commencing Early. It has been some time since we paid our compliments to U. 9. Marshal Maxwell, and the General became uneasy. Thinking, probably, that his recent hoist had elevated him out ol siht, the Corporal came around last evening and left with us a document, docu-ment, together with the compliments of plain Geo. R. Thank you, Mar-aba, Mar-aba, we appreciate your kindness, and in the future will probably think of you occasionally, when there is nothing else to do. The document which the General gave us is addressed ad-dressed to the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Suites, in Congress assembled, and probably tbe General thought we would be the proper parties to see that it safely reached its destination. It's the same old story. Your memorialists, citizens citi-zens of. etc., etc., respectfully represent, repre-sent, that the people of Utah have all of the ofliccs, all of the mon?y; that they work together as a unit, that . they have a preposterous creed, are treasonable.are being duped by a few, and all that sort of tiling. The production pro-duction emanates from the "ring," which is a sufficient guarantee of its "strength." It winds up with a prayer that Congress will pass such kiws as will correct the evils and abuses, and "give us (your memorialists memorial-ists the protection of a free civil government," gov-ernment," and at the same time yank rebellious Utah into harmony with the Federal government.
