Show COUNTY COURT NOTES county commissioners meet anc ing monday nov 0 6 1911 full board and county cle clerk rk H 0 pack in attendance and session was be began bean C an at a m and closed at 7 p m W H willey of the firm of willey willey applied for a refund of heretofore declared forfeited as a cash bond by justice of the peace IL L H oviatt of farmington precinct in the case of state of utah vs harvey kemerling referred to the county attorney for a legal opinion commissioner whitesides reported that ho he had received word from ex county commissioner randall of malad city to the effect that he did not know of any official sanction ever being given in regard to closing 0 the tha street in layton running from a point on high highway t way no I 1 and near the sandall d all and rufus adams premises to gentile street an application was received from civil engineer B F knowlton of the 0 S L ry co asking permission to close the public highway which crosses the 0 0 8 L track on the east side of section 13 tp 4 north range 2 west S L al and the following proposition was made that th the e railway company compa ny would purchase a right of way running running northerly alon along ca the west side of the railroad track to intersect with the public Illg highway 0 hway running east and west on the north side of said see sec 13 and that the company will build an overhead crossing where said last named highway crosses the railway companas comp anys track duly consider ed and referred to commissioner cook rufus adams and lawrence EL ellison presented a petition s signed ignec c by R IV adams and 0 others asking 0 that the following public highway in layton precinct be closed beginning r Z at the northeast corner of sec 29 tp 4 n r 1 w S lal L M thence south for a distance of feet from said section corner and proffering in to accept in lieu an easement toa toa strip of land 50 feet wide for a highway beginning at a point feet south of th the e northeast corner of said section 29 and running in a northwesterly direction tile the petition for the appointment of a reed inspector in accordance cor dance with the provisions provision of the noxious weed law was considered and road commissioner charles bennett was appointed ex officio weed inspector for the county upon application jens K nelson was authorized to hire bira the necessary help while collecting taxes the appropriation of 5 per month heretofore allowed mrs eudora casey was ordered discontinued as she has married and moved from the county five dollars per mouth month was appropriated to W A gw gwynn y nn an indigent of bountiful the usual list of monthly mont fily claims was allowed adjourned to nov 20 1911 at 10 a 3 m |
