Prospectors are active and several sev-eral of the mining and tunnel companies compa-nies arc preparing for tho summer campaign. Many of the placer claims are being worked. The American tunnel company are getting on band a supply of lumber for a boarding house, and will soon be at work upon their great borr. Furnace No. 1, of the WTinnamucca smelter is in full b'ast and is turning out more bullion than expected when put in operation. A large number of teams arc hauling ore to the smelters in the valley. Well posted mine owners assert that within one year the daily shipment of ore from Bingham district will exceed 800 tons daily. Ties are now being delivered deliv-ered along tho line of the railroad, and thcgrading is to be vigorously pushed as soon as the frot is out of the ground. Bjardiogj houses and the hotel are filled to overflowing, over-flowing, and visitors are expected to bring houses with them if thoy expect ex-pect such conveniences. Every one is looking for tho completion of the railroad, rail-road, with the exDCCtation that when tbat time comes Bingham will be one of the liveliest camps in tho Territory. |
