Rice, Farwell and Ward, Republicans, arc elected to congress in the 1st, 2d and 3d districts. The Republicans claim six out of seven State senators in Cook county, and twelve out of twenty representatives. Returns from other parts of the State indicate Grant's mnjority to be 35,000, and that tho congressional delegation stands twelve Republicans to seven Democrats. The legislature is Republican Repub-lican in both houses. The Republican Stato ticket is elected by a somewhat less majority than Grant will have. Cairo, Ills., b. Cairo givos Republican Repub-lican majorities for Grant 94-; Clement, congress, 97; Oglesby, governor, 72, a Republioan gain of nearly 500 over tho voto of 1S6S. The Repub!ic?ns claim tho election of Clement, congressman con-gressman in the &th district, by over 1,000 majority. Tho Democrats concede con-cede it by 300. County preoincts are not heard from. Chicago, 6. Returns from the city of Chicago are incomplete, but enough is known to show Grant's majority at least 8,000. Tho Republican county ticket is elected by a majority of not less than 10,000 and the Republicans also elect sis out of seven State senators, sena-tors, and thirteen out of twenty members mem-bers of the bouse, all that they could possibly elect under the system of cumulative voting now legal in this Stato. Additional returns from tho interior do not materially alter the estimate heretofore made of a Republican Repub-lican majority on tho President of i 35,000, Oglesby, for govornor, runs ! far behind Graot. In all localities , where there was a German population the voto is almost unanimous for Koorner, Liberal. The congressional delegation will probably stand thirteon Republicans and six Democrats, Clements Clem-ents having undoubtedly beaten Wall in tho ISth district. The legislature is Republican in both branches, insuring in-suring the election of a Republican senator in place of Trumbull. KANSAS. Topeka, Ks., 6. MAItYLANO. - Baltimore, 6. Indications from the State givo Greoley 5,000 majority. Wilson, Democrat, is probably elected io the first district. The 5th district is contested close. Lowndes, Republioan, Republi-oan, is elooted in the 6th by 1,500 majority. ma-jority. MISSOURI. St. Louis, 6 Thirty-six of fifty-four fifty-four precincts in this county give Greeley Gree-ley 3,000 majority. Only tvo wards in the city give Grant a majority. The result of the State and county ticket is not known yet, as tho returns are not counted, but it is believed they will fall Greeley. There seems to be no doubt the Domoorats have elected the three congressmen in this county. Nothing further received from the State. FLORIDA. Tallahassee, Fla., 6. In five counties, coun-ties, partially heard from, it is estimated estima-ted the Republican majority is 3,000. DELAWARE. Wilmington, Del., G. Grant and Wilson have carried the Stale by a small majority. Large Republioan gains everywhere aro reported throughout through-out the State. Wilmington, Del., G. The Republicans now claim this State by S.500. Newark, N. J., 6. The Democrats concede tho State to Grant by 5,000 majority. Tho legislature is Republican Republi-can by a small majority. Strait, 2d, by 2,000; J. T. Averill, 3d, by 6,000. The whole State ticket is carried by an overwhelming majority. Grant's majority in the city of St. Paul is 26, a Republican gain of 300. The State has gone probably 50,000 majority for Grant, There is scarcely a doubt that all the nine congressmen aro Republicans. The legislature overwhelmingly Republican, Repub-lican, both branches.
