Whedon was admitted to practice in the court. On motion of C. H. Hempstead, S. T. Brooks was admitted to practice. Marj' G. Hussey, appellant, rj. Job Smith, respondent, on anpeal from the Third District Court; Messrs. Snow (t Hoge for appellant, and Messrs. Rosbomugh it Merritt for respondent. respond-ent. Snow occupied the time till three p. m., in making the opening argument. Merritt followed, speaking speak-ing till four o'clock, when the court adjourned til! 10 o'clock a. m. on Friday, when Merritt will resume his argument. |
