Show Justice's Court. John Wright had a hearing yesterday, for stealing clothing, and was bound to the probate court in bonds of $300, N. H. Lyon was fined $15 for an assault on Wright, aod $35 for assault and battery committed on Scoficld. Clint. Fioyd and Joe Davis, "color" cd gemmen," wore brought up for robbery committed on Perry BrookB. Tbo witnesses failed to appear, and the prisoners were discharged. Several "drunks" will have a hear ing tbis morning. In Town. Among the arrivals registered at the Walker Houso last night, is W. II. Clagett, Montana. "If tbis bo ho" then all the Utah congressional con-gressional delegates aro in town, and we believe all tho lately appointed governors, exoept perhaps our old press agent acquaintance, are here also. Besides those whom the people of Utah voted for as delegates, chief ju-tioc Merritt, governor CIrgctt and the "general" arc 0n hand. Can't we havo a bg reception, much handshaking, handshak-ing, some musie and tho usual speechifying? speechi-fying? Let's havo something to vary tho monotony. |
