The concert con-cert and ball, given at iho ''institute" last night, for the benefit ef the Children's Child-ren's Progressive Ljceum, was well attended, rassed of in good style, and was an enjoyable affair. The concert, which consisted of Eongs and addresses, 3'oscd at half-past nine, when the dancing commenced and was continued until laic in the night. From 10 p.m. to 1 p.m. supper was given at the American Hotel. The following wai handed ;.n after our reporters' item had been scot to the compositors, tho writer returning to the ball. We believo ho is correct, that the affair was the anniversary he represents; and think it would have been a happier thought in the projectors to have given the party its right name.
