Xanayan Sheshetlrai, of Bombay, gave- an account of the project pro-ject of founding a Christian colony m Bombay, the presidency of an Evangelical Evan-gelical Conference, held at Allahabad, of ministers from all parts of the world, and of the founding of a native na-tive Christian Alliance in India. Stephenson, of Dublin, said In represented the least of lands yet one that was destined, it seemed to play an important part. Dr. Rigg, of London, spoke of the meeting meet-ing of this evening as the most wonderful won-derful Evangelical alliance gathering ever known, and yet it was but a feeble fee-ble index of the concentrated attention atten-tion bent upon this spot by millions on both continents. |
