They are Herr von Schleidcn, for thirteen years minister plenipotentiary to Washington from theHanseatio cities, afterwards transferred transfer-red to the court of St. James where he represented the same power in a similar simi-lar capacity, and now a member of the German parliament ; Herr JohanneB Rosing, LL.D., consul general of the German empire at New York ; and Herr Leopold von Bierwirth, formerly president of the Oriental insurance company, but at present engaged in commerce as a merchant and cotton Bhipper in New York. The party are on a tour of pleasure and observation through the west. They have already visited some of the States bordering on the Missouri and tho Territory of Colorado, and to-day pass on to the Pacific. Since their arrival here their time has been well occupied in visiting the objects of interest in and around the oity; and yesterday afternoon, on ! invitation of President Young, to whom they bore letters of introduction introduc-tion from the Hon. W. H. Seward, ex-secretary ex-secretary of State, they accompanied him on a trip over the U. S. R. R. to Lehi, the present terminus of the road. President George A. Smith, Mayor Wells, Hon.
