Show NEVADA BULLION. The amount of bullion produced by four of the Eureka Consolidated Company's Com-pany's furnaces during the last thirty-one thirty-one days was tons, valued at$U,-UU0. at$U,-UU0. This showing is largely excess of any similar works of the same capacity capac-ity in tho United States, or on the Old Continent, where smelting has been carried on for almost time immemorial, im-memorial, Tho company disburses in this vicinity, as expenses per month, upwards of $7j,U00. This expense includes the freighting of the above amount of bullion to tho refinery, where it is shipped ibr separation. Truly, the the old Buckeye and Champion minos are giving out profitably to the stockholders stock-holders to an "alarming extent,'1 It ie supposed by tho knowing ones hero that a dividend of $-2.u0 or 3.00 per share, will be declared for the months of Juno and July. Everything about the mines and furnaces are ably carried on by its scientific and gentlemanly general gener-al superintendent, W. S. Keye?, who has, by his energy and thorough un-derstandiugof un-derstandiugof tke "situation, "brought thisoompaoy into such reputo that its stock will be largely sought after by home us well as foreign capitalists. Those figures fig-ures of only ouo of our "insituiions," in the smelting line, is a showing that places ui in the front rank, and one that all Eurekans may well feel proud ' uf. Another, showing equally as good for its capacity, is that of the Kichmond Mining Company, which has produced in the last thirty days a gross yield of bullion valued at Si. 000 per day, net-ing net-ing a olear profit of $S50 per diem to the present fortunate owners of this valuable mino. Wo mentioned a lew days r-inco the pale of this valuable property to an Englit-h company in London. We are somewhat in a quandary quan-dary to know whether to congratulate our home owners on this transaction of their agent in England, or to sorrow for them in the sale of a princely fortune fbr the apparently small sum reported !') telegraph to them here. There is no lie-iiaiicy, however, in our congrat- j ii In 1 1 hi- t'.'ivjird onr cousins across the I .-eas. hnrka S-ntiiitl. |
