Show Personal. We had a call yesterday yester-day from senator Wand, of California, and were pleased to renew our acquaintance acquain-tance with him. Ho will spend a few days in town recuperating after the session of the legislature of his State. Julge Bradford Icit yesterday afternoon after-noon for the west. Alcxauder Majors, Esq., was ex-pectcd ex-pectcd to arrive last night from the east, where he has made a somewhat protracted stay, and has been highly successful in disposing of a number of valuable mining properties located in this Territory, Charles A. Gillespie, Esq., paymaster paymas-ter of the U, P. It. It., favored us with a call yesterday. He is oq his way from Sau Francisco to Omahs, and dropped down from Ogdcn for a brief vitit to Salt Lake. He goes east this morning. |
