The progress of the , movement outside Germany is rather slow, notwithstanding the zeal and energy ener-gy of such workers as Frederick, Uuber, , Stressmeyer and others, has made little headway. U Spain the prospects are better for the reformers. It is thought from revelations lately made in Austria of the abuses of the confessional, that j that country is a good field t for the Pollinerites. As regards 'Kussia there are chances ' of I .an understanding between the Creek .church and the "old Catholics" At .tho September congress of Munich, Osimni, of St. Petersburg, was pre sent as a delegate ol the Greek church, and was most highly impressed with the programme of the "old Catholic" party: and the endeavor to bring about a union between the two churches will bo prosecuted with zeal.
