Show Blown (Ht. Yesterday morning shortly after four o'clock, the wind, which was rather rough at tho time, lifted on half of the roof off the residence resi-dence of Mr. II. N. Chlarsson, ward, and aimed it nearly half a i block. Mr. C. went unto the remain ing part of the root' to secure it, and was himself lifted by the wind, carried off the roof and set down neatly on 1 the ground, head up. A part of the nable eud of the house was also blown dowu into tho parUr; yet, strange to 'l say, no person was injured through the y whole of it. |
