Our army Ux)k the offensive, crossed the frontier, and invaded the territory of PrusMa, in spite of the number and position of the enemy. A lew of our battalions were sufficient to carry the heights which overlook Sanrbruckcn. and our artillery were not .-low to drive the enemy from the town. The impetuosity im-petuosity of our troops was so great that our losses were slight. The engagement en-gagement commenced at eleven and ended at one.
