W7ithin the last month a number of copper and silver bearing leads have been discovered in the vicinity of Har-risburg, Har-risburg, Leeds, Washington and this city, and some very rich speoiemens ofi copper ore from a point south some j sixty miles. At Harrisburg a district has been formed and a number of claims made. J We have seen many very fine speci-j speci-j mens of bullion that have been smelted lout in a smith's forge. The excite-i excite-i ment is considerable in this whole region and expectation is on tiptoe. |
