True, it was not in his District, we believe, but in that of Judge Strickland; Strick-land; yet what does that matter? Will the results of that interpretation. inter-pretation. have a. salutary effect in restraining re-straining criminals and protecting law-abiding law-abiding citizens? And will not the Districts, the Judges of which do.D'it reside in them, be a very Ahsathi fur criminal. when it takes a puissant District .Judge alone to exercise jurisdiction juris-diction in criminal cases ?
